Payments & Insurance
I do not bill insurance directly, which allows me to offer longer, more flexible appointments and fully personalize your care without the constraints of insurance requirements. This also means we can focus on what feels most meaningful and helpful to you — not just what’s covered by your plan.
If you have out-of-network benefits, I’m happy to provide a superbill — a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Every plan is different, so I recommend checking with your insurance provider to understand your specific out-of-network coverage.
Payment is due at the time of your appointment, and I accept credit cards and HSA/FSA cards.
First appointments are approximately 90 minutes.
Follow-up visits will range from 30-60 minutes, depending on your clinical needs.
Private Pay Fees:
$300 for initial 90-minute intake session
$250 for 60-minute follow up appointment
$175 for 30-minute follow up appointment
*I keep a few spaces open for low-income clients. If you feel this is reflective of your economic circumstances, please let me know. Please keep in mind that I hold these spaces open to people who are marginalized and do not have access to quality mental health care.
Help Submitting Out of Network Claims
If you need help submitting claims, a service called Reimbursify will submit the insurance reimbursement paperwork for you.
The first claim is free, and they charge $1.99 to $2.99 per claim.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, kindly do so via the patient portal at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment. Any appointments that are rescheduled or cancelled less than 48 hours will be charged the full session rate. If you intend to reschedule your appointment, please be aware that I cannot guarantee another available time within the same time slot or within the same week.
The only exceptions for late cancellations are for emergencies (i.e., death or birth in the family, an accident) or serious illnesses or injuries of yourself or someone you care for. Work or travel-related conflicts will not be exceptions to this policy. This policy is necessary because a time commitment is made to you and is held exclusively for you. Fees incurred on same day cancellations may be waived in the event of an emergency on a case-by-case basis.
Outside Paperwork Policy
The services I provide are purely clinical. Thus, I am unable to handle disability claims or any claims intended for various legal purposes, including court-mandated and custody/parenting plan assessments. I provide assistance with FMLA/STD/LTD paperwork for patients who are well-established with me (9+ months of consistent clinical care) and only for bona fide psychiatric issues that are impairing a patient’s occupational or academic performance. The fee for completing these forms is $50 per page.
In- Person and Telehealth Sessions
I offer in-person session in Seattle, Washington in the conveniently located SODO neighborhood on Fridays.
My office has plenty of free parking and is near public transit. Please note that a therapy dog is sometimes in the office, and anyone with relevant allergies is welcome to meet me on Telehealth.
I also offer Telehealth sessions for convenience. However, certain types of trauma are better suited for in-person work, and yield better therapeutic outcomes. You must be in Washington state during your appointment. Please be sure you have good internet access and are in a private location where you feel comfortable disclosing personal information. I am also located in-state in the privacy of a remote office.
Refill Policy
Medications and refills will only be prescribed during our scheduled visits together, and only in an amount long enough to get you to your next scheduled visit. This allows us to discuss how the medications are working, how long you should take them, and if any changes are needed. If you are traveling out of Washington state, please be aware that ARNP prescribing laws vary between states and you may or may not be able to fill controlled medications outside of WA.
Privacy Policy & Notice of Privacy Practices
I follow all federal and Washington state privacy laws, including HIPAA, to protect your health information. I only use or share your information to provide care, bill for services, run my practice, or when required by law.
I will not sell your information or use it for marketing without your permission.
For questions about privacy or your rights, please contact me using the form on my Contact page.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected costs of your care if you are uninsured or choose not to use insurance.
You can request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling or at any time during your care.
