Expand your mind
through heart centered psychiatry
Welcome. I’m Jenia.
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who believes the best psychiatric care begins with understanding the whole person, not just the symptoms.
I bring together evidence-based psychiatry, trauma-informed care, and deep respect for the person behind the symptoms. We’ll create a treatment plan informed by science and shaped by your lived experience, intuition, values, and what feels most aligned with your whole humanity.
My goal is simple: to help you better understand yourself and move through life with greater confidence, clarity, and ease.
Services:
Ready to Begin?
My goal is to make the process straightforward and transparent from the very beginning.
-
Schedule a complimentary 20-minute phone consultation to see whether we’re a good fit for working together.
-
If it feels like we may be a good fit, I’ll schedule your first appointment and invite you to my secure patient portal, where you can complete the necessary intake paperwork and view upcoming visits.
-
Our first appointment will be a 90-minute comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. This is an opportunity to share your story, explore your goals, and begin building a treatment plan that reflects your needs, values, and preferences. When appropriate, I may recommend lab work through your primary care provider to rule out underlying medical conditions that could be contributing to how you’re feeling.
The fee for this visit is $300.
-
The first follow-up visit is typically 60 minutes. This allows time to review any additional information, discuss options for your care, and begin implementing your treatment plan. If medications are part of the plan, this is usually when we discuss medication management.
The fee for this visit is $250.
-
Ongoing follow-up visits are tailored to your needs. Some people prefer 30-minute appointments for medication monitoring, while others benefit from 60-minute sessions that allow time for more in-depth exploration, therapeutic support, and lifestyle planning.
30-minute follow-up for medication management: $175
60-minute follow-up for medication management: $250
50-minute psychotherapy: $200
At first, we’ll plan on meeting weekly, or bi-weekly, so we can see how things are going and make sure your treatment is working for you. Once your symptoms improve or things start to feel more stable, we’ll figure out a follow-up schedule that makes sense based on your needs and goals. If you’re on medication long-term, I’ll need to check in with you at least once every three months to make sure everything’s still working well - but we’ll adjust as we go to make sure your care fits your life experience.
