Expand your mind

through a heart centered approach to psychiatry

Welcome,

I’m Jenia Malysh,

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

I offer holistic, trauma-informed psychiatric care that considers the mind, body, and soul as interconnected parts of your health and well-being. Every person’s healing journey is unique, and my role is to partner with you in building a treatment plan that reflects your values, strengths, and goals — one that helps you feel fully seen and supported.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief, bereavement, burnout, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, we’ll work together to explore a range of tools to support your healing. These may include medications when clinically indicated, but also mindfulness, body-based approaches, lifestyle shifts, and inner work. I’m here to support you on your path toward empowerment as we explore what healing looks like to you.

Thank you for being here.

What to Expect:

  • The first step is to fill out the Contact form on my website.

I will contact you within 24 business hours to schedule your free 20-minute phone consultation to determine if we are a good fit for working together.

  • If it feels like we may be a good fit, I’ll invite you to my secure patient portal, where you can schedule your first appointment and complete the necessary intake paperwork.

  • Our first appointment will be a 90-minute comprehensive evaluation. This is an opportunity to share your story, explore your goals, and begin building a treatment plan that reflects your needs, values, and preferences. When appropriate, I may recommend lab work through your primary care provider to rule out underlying medical conditions that could be contributing to how you’re feeling.

The fee for this visit is $300

  • The first follow-up visit is typically 60 minutes. This allows time to review any additional information, discuss options for your care, and begin implementing your treatment plan. If medications are part of the plan, this is usually when we discuss medication management.

The fee for this visit is $250

  • Ongoing follow-up visits are tailored to your needs. Some people prefer 30-minute appointments for medication monitoring, while others benefit from 60-minute sessions that allow time for more in-depth exploration, therapeutic support, and lifestyle planning.

    • 30-minute follow-up: $175

    • 60-minute follow-up: $250

At first, we’ll plan on meeting weekly so we can see how things are going and make sure your treatment is working for you. Once your symptoms improve or things start to feel more stable, we’ll figure out a follow-up schedule that makes sense based on your needs and goals. If you’re on medication long-term, I’ll need to check in with you at least once every three months to make sure everything’s still working well — but we’ll adjust as we go to make sure your care fits your life experience.
